The musical-literary composition «Revival» took place in Kostroma. At the conductor’s podium was international competition laureate Alexei Chugayev. The concert featured People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Konkin, theater and film actress Yana Poplavskaya, and the «Yaroslavia» Philharmonic Chapel under the direction of Vladimir Kontarev.
The program is based on works by contemporary composers, many of whom were born in Donbass, as well as literary works by Soviet and Russian authors. The event is dedicated to the theme of Russia’s revival through Donbass — a land of courageous and talented people that has given the country famous poets, artists, and film directors.
The organizers recalled the words of St. Sergius of Radonezh: «By love and unity we shall be saved.» According to them, the shelling could not silence the music of the Donetsk Philharmonic, and poems about the harsh everyday life of Donbass resonated in the heart of every Russian.
In Yaroslavl, the musical-literary composition «Revival» will take place on September 29 in the L. V. Sobinov Concert Hall.
