Today, an open rehearsal was held at the Yaroslavl Philharmonic for the concert with which the Yaroslavl Academic Governor’s Symphony Orchestra will open its new concert season.
The orchestra was conducted by the chief conductor of the YAGSO, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasily Valitov. Guest soloists also took part in the rehearsal alongside the orchestra: People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR, violinist Aiman Musakhodzhayeva, and international competition laureate, violist Alexei Lyudevig.
Guests were able to see the creative process from the inside: to follow the work of the orchestra and soloists, to hear how the chief conductor interacts with the musicians and shapes the sound of the upcoming concert program.
In addition, participants of the open rehearsal visited the backstage of the Yaroslavl Philharmonic, got acquainted with its space, and learned the history of the creation of the Yaroslavl Academic Governor’s Symphony Orchestra.
